RT - Event one

EVENT ONE:

The darkness was blinding. It suffocated any joy, happiness and hope.

As you wander around the darkness, a small blue flame hovers in the distance, and the sound of running water resonated throughout the space.

You walk towards it, a glimmer of hope igniting in your heart, that someone, somewhere, will pull you out of this forsaken darkness. Your footsteps become faster, and accelerate into a sprint, only to be brought to a stop by what felt like water washing over your feet.

You can feel it coaxing you into the darkness, when a blue light shines over your legs to reveal thousands of claw like hands tugging at your clothes.

In fear, you jump out of the clutches of the hands, and see a person standing in a boat next to a small, decaying dock.

'Toll please.' the voice said in a monotonous tone.

Out of instinct, you gave up something of importance to you, and your heart races in anticipation.

'You call that a toll?' The figure sneered, displaying a wicked set of jagged teeth. 'Fine.' it sighed, as it reached out a hand towards you.

To celebrate, draw your character's new beginning as they enter the ferry with Charon. ( ask me for a reference if you need it )
